Question: What inspired you to start a business in the mother and baby industry?
As parents ourselves, we experienced the challenges firsthand when our child entered the weaning phase. We noticed a gap in the market for baby weaning products that were not only functional and practical but also aesthetically pleasing. It became clear that many products didn’t meet the needs of modern parents who are looking for convenience and style. This inspired us to start Hanmoon, with a mission to create quality products that help parents during this important stage of their baby’s life.
Question: What is your favorite product in your current line-up?
My favorite would be our newly launched detachable tray. It’s a standout because of its unique design with two removable compartments that can be adjusted based on how much the baby is eating. It’s a versatile tool that supports both baby-led weaning (BLW) and traditional weaning methods, making mealtime more flexible and stress-free for parents.
Question: What sets your products apart from competitors?
It’s all about the functional design, aesthetics, and quality. When you hold one of our products, the difference is immediately apparent—the silicone is smooth and thick, with no strange odors, ensuring safety for the baby. Plus, every design detail is created with moms in mind, from functionality to elegance. We aim for practicality without compromising on style, which makes our products truly stand out.
Question: What are your long-term goals for your business?
Our long-term vision is to establish Hanmoon as the global brand of choice for baby products. We have plans to expand both horizontally—by offering a wider range of baby products—and vertically—by improving our production and distribution chains to ensure top quality and availability. Diversification is also on the horizon as we continue to innovate and explore new ways to meet the evolving needs of parents around the world.
Question: What do you think are the most common pain points for mothers when it comes to their baby?
One of the biggest pain points for mothers is finding a product that strikes the right balance between convenience, aesthetics, quality, and affordability. With so many choices on the market, it can be overwhelming for parents to decide what’s truly best for their child. At Hanmoon, we address this by creating products that are reliable, functional, and beautifully designed, making it easier for parents to make confident decisions.
Question: What do you consider the biggest achievement for your brand so far?
Our biggest achievement so far has been the successful design and launch of our own products, which have received overwhelming positive feedback from moms. It’s incredibly rewarding to see that our products are helping parents make their daily lives easier, and the great reception from our customers has reinforced our belief in what we’re doing.
