The History of the cauldronThe cauldron was not an invention of the Celts: it had been around for possibly thousands of years before them. However, it seems that the Celtic civilisation gave great importance to their cauldrons. Many have been unearthed in Ireland, Wales and Scotland, unused and in many cases in burial sites. Not only did the Celts make them extremely large for cooking huge feasts, they seem to have used them for spiritual practices and other practices that are no longer known. The cauldrons were made from bronze, copper or iron depending on what era they were from. The cauldron was an invaluable item in every home, as it was a device in which to cook, clean, dye fabrics and store items. In fact, not having one was foreign. As modern-day conveniences such as ovens made their way into homes the cauldron began to lose its fundamental use. We now use plastic buckets and laundry sinks for many things, and the cauldron is viewed by many as a witch’s tool and has been over-commercialised as such. |
Creating a ritualA ritual can be anything you do on a regular basis that brings you closer to spirit or nature, and it can be simple or elaborate and encompass the beliefs and items you feel drawn to. It is important to understand that you do not have to conform to any other way, because it is all about intent and it needs to feel right for you. Another way to look at ritual is calling it a ceremony. The word ‘ritual’ in itself can have so many connotations attached to it that ‘ceremony’ may sit with you better. As with any recipe we first need an intention. What do we want to create or manifest? It might be a simple request or something much larger, but we need to be very clear on what we want to achieve. |
Anointing oils, salves and melts.Infused oils and salves are very easy to make when you get the hang of it: you’ll start to acquire a nice little apothecary of various herbs that have myriad uses. I suggest you start with just one herb and build from there, because it can get a bit overwhelming. Working with plants and your cauldron brings a lot of satisfaction, because you truly are creating a magickal finished product. You can use infused oils and salves for many things and anointing objects and yourself is just one. ‘Anointing’ means to rub or smear an oil onto something as part of a ceremony. You might like to anoint the outside of a candle, a bowl or item you’re working with, or you can anoint yourself by rubbing the oil or salve onto skin areas such as your temples or the insides of your wrists. The point of anointing is to be present and call in the specific energy you wish to work with. |

Bought these very cute gnomes for my potted plants and thank you for the free gift!

My 3 year old son really loves these for bath time, even more than bath bombs

I loved it as it was my favourite snack when i was young and it looks cute as a product

I think it’s a great item. I was having a headache on what to buy for my female colleague’s christmas present for secret santa. I was looking through novelty items and i saw this desk sign and i thought it is perfect! She does sales and she always has goals to hit so i thought it would look great on her desk. I just decided to buy it figuring it would be great for her to have something like this.
Plus I was left like one week to buy something and the delivery was fast! Made it just in time for me to give it to my colleague!

This purchase was a rushed buy as I needed them urgently for an overseas trip. What was amazing was their warm and prompt service. Not only were they responsive in their communication, I also received my order very quickly. Thanks again.
